BIKE NEWS
The July issue of The Horse and
Backstreet Choppers, available at finer newstands and 7-11s and grocery
stores everywhere, has several pages devoted to Mark Wenner's
motorcycle collection. Sean Sweeney, who writes under the nom de guerre
X.S. Speed, wrote and did all the photography for the article. Mark's
bikes are lookin' good (runnin'good too) and the text is quite accurate. There
was also a photo of Mark in last year's Easyrider Magazine special,
Daytona Scrapbook 2008. It was taken at the Deland bike Rally and Mark
is wearing a flamed shirt and sporting a flamed bandana and his flamed
harp microphone. The picture is next to a shot of one of the late
Indian Larry's fine creations. Mark also recently made the
front page of Hagertown Maryland's Herald-Mail on Friday May 29
and the picture can be seen if you click here.
Ric Dugan took this fine shot that features a green background, Mark's
green shirt from the Western Maryland Festival from 2000, and of course
soem nice green ink in Mark's arms. Mark friend and fellow harpman,
Shane O'Neill, is extensively quoted in the article and says some
complimentary things. Shane teaches the harp workshop at the Western
Maryland Festival these days and plays with the group Blues in the Attic and also the famous 69 Band.
